Hello Everyone!

As we prepare for another busy summer here at Acadia Village Resort, I would like to update our owners and guests to recent changes. We have replaced all the mattresses in Units 11-16, started replacing our traditional 4 burner stoves with smoothtop ranges, and continued with our landscaping upgrades all thru the resort property.

We have also added recycling containers to all units, and have 2 large recycling bins centrally located to make it easier for all who wish to recycle. We have partnered with Zero-Sort Recycling to make it even easier, no need to separate the paper from the plastic anymore!

We continue to be a favorite destination for people coming to visit the Downeast Maine area. Every week we host guests from all over the US who come to enjoy a little Downeast hospitality, check out Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and maybe eat a little "lobstah" while they are here. We are not Disney, or any other large lodging company, we are a small resort that offers a wonderful location to enjoy all that Maine can offer, no matter what season you come and visit.

Interval International has again awarded AVR with its Select Designation for the third stright year! According to Interval International, Select Resorts provide a great vacation experience with a comfortable and home-like atmosphere, offering hospitality, welcome, friendliness, and warmth. I think that is exactly what we are trying to accomplish here!
